Shhhhhhh
The silence is too loud.
Oh for Christ's sake...my lovely sister tagged me to answer this question in blog land.
Selfishness is something I cannot tolerate in my life!!! How is it possible for one to claim to be so "selfless" yet is really so selfish! This self proclaimed "selfless" person couldn't even come through for me as a friend when I asked for some support during a hard time. Thank you for shoving it in my face! I have no room for someone as self- absorbed as you in my life! You wouldn't know "selfless" if it was shoved up your ass, pulled out your nose and hung before your "selfless" black heart. Some friend....who needs enemies.
I plod along...{{sign}}. I keep plodding along...another {{SIGN}}. Soon the signs are so huge, yet, so true to my nature, I am stubborn. I refuse to see the signs. However, I will overlook them no longer.
Everything happens for a reason. I so try to believe that. Good or bad, there is always a reason for things to happen in life. I'm actually reading a book with that title...'Everything Happens for a Reason'. One of the chapters is talking about fear and how things will happen so we can realize how to overcome our fear. As I was reading this I thought that there really wasn't anything that I feared. I'm not talking about things like snakes or spiders....I would have to admit that I fear them. I'm talking more like fear of not succeeding, fear of dying, fear of being alone. How we overcome these fears is to realize that maybe something in our life happened or will happen that may not be related to our fear but it happened to show that if we can get through those times that seem almost insurmountable and we survived, then what is there to really fear? So true. Funny how things will present themselves in life so we may learn something from them.
I'll never understand why there is so much hate in the world. Please, let's keep the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the London terrorist attack in our prayers. And also, pray for those who were hurt. Hate will be the demise of man, and what ashame that will be.
July 1st was the day Sandra Day O'Connor decided to resign from her position on the Supreme Court. This came as shocking news to me and I'm sure the rest of the civilized female population. Not that I care to watch, or even listen to that smug ass president of ours, but it will be interesting to see who he appoints to replace her. It will be interesting to see who he feels is "conservative" enough to make decisions regarding our wonderful country. Seeing that the state of the "United States" is certainly not as "united" as one would have hoped it to be at this stage in the game....maybe our "commander and chief" (and I use that term very loosely) will decide to put a tele-vangelist in the Supreme Court. Maybe he can "heal" us all and save us from temptation!
